Who we are
Auto Field Maps is a free website for mapping the fields on your land, with their sizes and field numbers. It is run by the person who owns this website, who also runs Model my Property.
What we keep
There are no accounts, and you never need to give your name or email address. Your work is saved automatically in your own browser so it is there when you return. It is not sent to us. Your maps stay on your device unless you save them to a file or download them.
If you let the site use your location, your browser gives it once, only to move the map to where you are. It is not saved or sent to us.
Land Registry files you add are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
Services the site loads from
Map pictures, place search, field edges, field numbers and height data come from other services: Esri, OpenStreetMap (Nominatim and Overpass), the Environment Agency and the Rural Payments Agency. Like any website that loads from other places, they can see your internet address and which area you are looking at.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own and shows no adverts. Nothing about you is ever sold.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Because your work is kept in your own browser, you can delete it yourself at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
